Will review after using a while – but for information: my local hardware store had coral sand, which I used to fill my bags. Sold in 1/2 cubic ft bags. One was not enough. I used about a quarter of the second bag. Weight of the bags after filling: 25.4#, 19.8#, 8.6#, for total of 53.8#. So not quite 60lbs, but plenty for me. I didn’t fill above the inner Velcro, so I don’t risk leakage.First impression – sturdy bag. Doesn’t seem like it will leak.*** UPDATE ***3 months into using, see pictures. I use this maybe once a week on average. No sand bag slams, but do drop from overhead occasionally.Some leakage. Velcro seems still in place but some fine sand escapes inside.I have done some sand bag push-up drags. I mistakenly did it on sidewalk once and got some serious fray/holes on the end (picture). Doing it on the rubber mat doesn’t get the same damage.First sandbag so can’t compare, but seems to holding up decently.

I got this for my new home gym. I was a little hesitant based off some of the reviews stating that i was tearing. I ordered sand, but in the mean time I’m using wooden pellets for my grill. It’s been holding up pretty well. I took pictures of the inside and maybe based off the reviews they fixed it? It seems pretty sturdy and the stitching looks fairly good. I’ve been tossing the bag on the ground and lifting it fairly often and it seems to hold up. It’s only been two weeks and I’m super glad to incorporate this into my workout as well as my gym.

After and initial problem with one of the filler bags in my initial order, the seller quickly responded to my issue and provided a replacement sandbag that appears to be functioning well.

Material is strong canvas and bags have two sets of strong Velcro which prevents the sand from coming out. Sand obviously isn’t included but if there’s none around you it only costs a few bucks at hardware stores. Once the bags are filled the sand didn’t spill out at all which was nice since I use min indoors. Good quality and worth the price.

Filled with exactly 60# of sand. Three internal bags. All was well. Internal sand bags are not the same size, fit oddly in the main bag. The zipper on the main bag seems light weight, we’ll have to see how it holds up.Did a dead-lift/clean, dropped it down for a power clean, the stitching on one of the handles let loose to the first reinforcement. Did several subsequent power cleans, no further stitching tears. Will test further tonight and report back if continued failure modes occur.EDIT 06/2020Reduced rating to 1 star. Unless you keep it below 30lbs. I would not recommend. One set of handles literally pulled right off. Zipper has no means of securing, will unzip during use. Had to wrap with duct tape to fix both issues.

I bought medium size that supposed to be 25-75 lb and I filled one inside bag to 40 lb, which is more than enough for me. But the bags (both inner and outer) are only half full with 40lb. It probably can go up to 100 if packed well. Half full is not good for some exercises (shoulders lift). So I am going to return this and get the small one – 25lb.Since other than size the bags are really good quality.

Great quality! Built tough and has so far had great durability. Selling point for me was the different bag options for sand (10lb, 20lb and 30lb) so it can be adjusted based on how heavy you need. Tons of handles on all sides of the bag to pick it up in different ways!

I like it. When all this covid lockdown started I was using a 7g water jug that I had for emergencies. Great for lunges and overhead walks but the plastic eventually leaked so I bought this as a replacement. I’m happy with all the various handles for finding different grips.Day one I filled the 3 inner bags with California dirt and pebbles. The scale said it was 36lb.Day two I filled some space on the inside of the bag and the scale then said it was 50lb. It does blow dust from the zipper, however. In fact, the whole thing is a dust bomb so I wet it down before use.This lasted 6 months before I snagged it accidentally on my sled. RIP little bag. Won’t buy again because now I realize how vital inner bags are.

Great sandbag, but don’t use full weight!
Overall I’m still giving this product a 5 even though I think the durability can be improved (only an issue with the heavier sandbags). The sandbag has been great to add variety to my at home workouts. A lot of different movements are possible for a full body workout. I would recommend this product if you do not have the intention to use the full 60 pound weight. I find it does well up to 30, but beyond that, some damage can incur depending on your exercise (definitely don’t throw or toss). With that said, the customer service team has been outstanding. They were very accommodating to either replace or refund my purchase after explaining some of the difficulties I experienced with the product. Overall still great value and product for someone like me where 30 pounds is plenty for most exercises. A winner for light to med weighted workouts!

Sturdy, Strong and great grip!
I’ve been using this bag for wrestling training for a while now and I can assure anyone interested that they won’t be disappointed. I filled the 3 bags with garbage bags then inserted as much pea gravel as would fit. While it is rated at 60 pounds I got it up to 70 with pea gravel so it can certainly be increased in weight. I could even see it possible to push 80 with the right mixture so there is the option for people looking at a bit heavier. Slamming it down, carrying it by one handle and throwing it across the room all work and it doesn’t have a scratch on it. I think a lot of people who are experiencing problems have sand itself in the bag, ever since using pea gravel it’s been a much better experience so I would recommend that first before returning, because that is likely the cause of your problem. Overall 5 stars definitely.
