Qardio has made a good product even better. I had previously purchased the original QardioBase when it first came out and just bought the new QardioBase 2. Qardio has fixed two of the issues I had with this new model. Setup with the Qardio app was easier than the first one and the QardioBase 2 doesn’t wobble! It’s much sturdier and even better, now includes a rechargeable battery via a USB cable rather than using AAA batteries. The Qardio app is a breeze to use and I appreciate the weekly reminder to step on the scale. Just step on the QardioBase 2 and it syncs all of the data to your phone. I love the fact that it doesn’t just measure weight, it also tracks BMI, fat and muscle making it great to see workout progress. The app is easy to use and shows your latest measurements as well as your current progress for the week with a smiley face to let you know if you’ve lost a little weight over the week. You can set a goal within the app and easily track all of your progress and look at it as a graph or show all of your history. Highly recommended.

This is by far the most advanced and data rich scale the you are going to be able to buy at this price point, or any price point for that matter. It is highly accurate, gives you BMI, body water, bone and fat percentages and keeps a history on the Quardio app on your iOS or Android platform. I have been trying to buy this scale for a few years, but couldn’t work it into the budget. I am so glad I finally bought it. It’s like no other scale of it’s type, Qardio isn’t the best for support options, and that’s a drawback if you need help with any of their products (I have this and the blood pressure cuff), but I have never had to use them for support but once and they emailed me back in 96 hours (which I thought was excessive – COVID or not). It does occasionally get confused as to whether to go into guest mode or primary user mode, but this can be remedied by tweaking the app before your guest user gets on the scale. Other than that it is a highly incredibly performing piece of hardware with an superb GUI for your iOS or Android platform.

I have the Qardio Arm and think it is a great product with a good enough user interface.Because of that experience I bought the QardioBase 2. The app feels like it was written by Chimps for use by lizards. There is no “start” or “sync” button so you don’t know if the device is talking to the base. After using it for 5 days, I just looked at the history and it only captured data while my phone was in the same room and linked to it. I’ve weighed myself several times and sometimes it knew the user was me without my phone in the room , but it did not update the history. Tiny annoyance–it won’t accept capital letters, but the message on the app is “invalid character” without a clear indication in what field. AnnoyingWhen you get on the scale, you get a happy face for a second or two, then a square box. No indication when to get off the scale, but if you get off too soon it just turns off without telling you your weight. If you can guess what “long enough” is then it displays a number. Get right back on and it will display a different number. Then the main reason I’m returning it–I tried to set up a second user and it wouldn’t set up. The second phone says that it is set up, but the base does not ever acknowledge that user. About 1 out of 10 times of stepping on the scale it provides her with a “david” “guest” display with an arrow pointing to “guest”. When it does that she gets a number. When it doesn’t she doesn’t.I put in a problem notice with the manufacturer and got an e-mail that said “I would suggest to set up your scale from scratch to make sure the device is correctly configured” We ended up doing that 25 times. Each time we had to input her e-mail address AND our WiFi Password (32 characters, mixture of caps, lower case, numbers, and symbols, all kinds of fun on a smartphone). 25 times. If you make a mistake it jumps back to the beginning. Life is too short to put up with this app. Maybe QardioBas 12 will be useful, but 2 is a train wreck.

Once you set this up, it’s easy to use. Just step on it and wait while it does its thing. It will identify by your weight and then display your weight and fat percentage. It then logs everything with Quardio’s cloud service. The weights seem pretty consistent, but the body fat is all over the place. It’s given me measurements everywhere from 6% to 40%, sometimes both within minutes of each other. I guess I shouldn’t be too critical, since anything short of dunking yourself underwater and measuring how much water you displace is really just a guess anyway.

Great scale
I was in contact with customer support and am happy to say my issues with the product were resolved. The scale is attractive and well built. The original product received after several rounds of support was defective but my replacement came very quickly and works perfectly. Has very useful metrics and the app is very clean and easy to use.Thank you Qardio for replacing the defective unit. Great scale overall.‐——— updated——–I can’t give this more than a star until I get support from Qardio. Until then it is an expensive paperweight.I bought this for the additional body composition metrics and they simply don’t register. I get weight and that’s it. I could buy a $20 scale for that. Reached out to Qardio but only got an acknowledgement of my query. The troubleshooting faqs seems to suggest this is a common issue and users should reach out to support. The scale itself is nice, but if it has common issues and you can’t troubleshoot them, not sure why anyone should pay $200 for this. Will update if resolved

Ottimo marchio, gran prodotto
E’ molto ben curata: dai materiali allo stile.

Not cheap, but excellent!
I have had these scales for a month or so now and they have proved to be excellent. I have read some of the previous negative comments and find it difficult to agree with them particularly their instability.
