Fitnessery Ab Roller Workout Wheel

Abs are made in the kitchen and strengthened on the floor. Engage your whole core with an ab roller. This workout wheel is super strong, non-slip, and comes with a small pad to kneel on so you won’t hurt your knees.

Very good Hugh quality products. To assemble, just insert the metal bar, put grip on, then red cap. Super easy. The wheel has a kind of rubber like gripping on it, so it won’t skid on the floor. Used it on tile, wood, and rug, and doesn’t slip on any of them. Very great compared to cheaper models that would do so. The hand grips are extremely comfortable and have some grooves so it’s easy to get a good grip on the sides. Also, I didn’t realize that it comes with a mat for your knees. The mat is super padded and helps SO much if you aren’t using it on a rug or yoga mat. Great value and this mat was an added bonus I didn’t realize it was included. Works very well, and you can really feel the abs worked after using it. If you have minimal workout equipment, like just weights, it’s a must have very easy to store, and even if you have a whole home gym, there is no other equipment like this it is still a must have. Totally recommend, but tip, if you are a beginner, kneel and don’t push it out as far in front of you. You can build up strength from there.

This ab wheel is really nice. I scoured Amazon for a wheel that didn’t look flimsy and this thing seems really solid. Very happy with this purchase!Pros: I was worried it would be difficult to assemble as workout equipment can be sometimes, but it was crazy easy! You just slip the wheel and one handle on and you’re done. Took 5 seconds. The wheel itself is a great width. Other wheels seem like the ‘tire’ is harder plastic. This ‘tire’ is very rubberized making it really non-slip on any surface. I also like that the ‘tire’ is wider and had slightly rounded edges making it really stable when you working towards the side or bending at an angle for hitting your obliques. Rolls very easily on any surface while still feeling really solid. I’ve tried other ab wheels which just seem kind of flimsy, like the wheel moves side to side to much, and it makes for an unnerving exercise. This one has no flimsiness when moving to the side. I find it best to use on a large yoga mat though in case you fall on your face, ha! The grip is comfortable enough.Cons: The only thing I think they could improve about the ab wheel is making the grip uniform squishiness throughout. Maybe that’s actually to allow for more friction so you don’t slip, not sure. The extra knee pad seemed to slip on tile. I tried it once and felt like my knees were going to slip out so I stopped using it. Again, I just a yoga mat so my knees and the wheel stay on the same surface – I think that’s important. Also, the e-books were a nice addition but honestly not very helpful if you know the basics about fitness. I was expecting more alternative ab wheel workouts, but it’s mainly general fitness tips and other ab exercises not using this wheel. I have made up more ab wheel exercises up on my own just by changing up my knee positioning and the path of the wheel. I’m getting nit-picky though, it might be helpful for some. Also, some of the workouts suggest that you do 5-10 minutes of ab wheel. That’s a crazy huge amount! If you’re doing in right, at the max intensity, you probably won’t be able to do more than a minute. Watch some Youtube videos for proper technique.Overall, I’m very happy with this wheel and would definitely recommend it over others out there. One thing to note, I’ve seen this in the comments as a negative several times, ab wheels are not for everyone. I consider myself to be at a fairly advanced fitness level and I can’t do more than a handful of these in one set if I go down as far as I feel I can safely hold it. If you’re overweight, I think it’d be even harder. You actually need a fair amount of shoulder stability in addition to keeping your core tight. Makes for a great workout though if you can handle it!

I decided to get this thinking that it would be a convenient way to get a quick ab workout at home. I have not really been hitting the gym as much lately due to my work schedule and thought that this would be a great solution to this. For first impressions, it was easy to assemble. The foam handles are comfortable to grip and absorbed the sweat to avoid slipping. However, I will admit that it is not for beginners or people who have taken a break from working out such as myself. The slim wheel requires advance upper body strength to balance and it can be a lot tougher to maintain a good form or even do the complete exercise properly without losing strength. My dad was able to use this without any problems as he already has developed upper body strength and a strong core so this was more beneficial for him. It’s a very small wheel and can be stored almost anywhere which is awesome. There is just a bit of learning curve that is definitely involved to be able to use this to the best of it’s capability.

Based on the headline, you’d think I’m referring to business and I am — the business of you. I’ve owned different ab rollers in the past and at some point they do wear out, which is why I purchased this one (and got it on a Lightning Deal). Normally it’s about half of what you’d pay for the fancier ab carvers, but is just as effective with proper and consistent use.For the price I paid, I was actually quite impressed by the packaging (a nice box you could even gift the item in). Assembly is very easy and the build construction is solid. The wheel/roller has a nice rubberized texture that ensures good grip to hard surfaces and has a deep enough tread that it will “dig” into carpet. I use this on a hard surface, as I would not want to stain or wear down spots in the carpet. The handles could use a bit more cushion, but that could interfere with grip for some people. It’s fine for me. My biggest challenge is the consistency part that I referred to above.Using this several times a week (but not everyday to allow for recovery) is a great way to improve core strength. While I am by no means a personal trainer or fitness guru, I can speak to improved posture, less back pain, and greater flexibility. You can’t spot burn fat, so thinking this one device will get rid of the jelly/gelato belly is not the solution. However, it will help build muscle and you will likely burn more calories that way.

Top quality ab roller
I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of this product, particularly for its price point. It’s very tough and robust and certainly capable of coping with larger folks like myself. The rubber surface provides good traction and the wheel moves very smoothly around the handles. The knee pads are somewhat of a token addition that may be of use to you if you’re using a particularly unwelcoming surface. I’m not sure how well the knee pads will stand up, because I’m not likely to use them. but the ab roller itself is excellent.
